Eterna Nocturna

Photobucket

Eterna Nocturna is one young well polished progressive technical death metal machine hailing from the "Aroma of Tacoma Washington". While they say on there Last FM there influences vary from Origin to Meshuggah. And for my concern they are right they do have those influences. But two influences I feel like they kind of have in some parts is The Faceless and Hate Eternal. Maybe why I hear the influence The Faceless because there drummer Nick Pierce used to be in The Faceless. I suggest that you check out all there songs thats on there only EP titled "Solstice Of The Arc"

This band photo is missing one member.

Thoughts on tonights In Flames show..

The night started out boring waiting a hour and 30 mins in line the doors didnt open till 8:30 they said the doors were going to open a hour later then expected and turns out it was a hour and 45 mins

First up was The Faceless they seem to never bore me everytime I see them Micheal Keene's guitar playing and the rest band was on key all night long and they played alot of my faves but the two songs I liked tonight. They played were Sons of Belilel and Xenochrist. And I wonder what band The Faceless will bring to Spokane. But I was disappointed I didnt reach my goal of getting Michael Keenes pick

Next was 3 inches of blood they sounded pretty okay tonight. But they have played better the last times i have seen them. and i admit i was kinda dissappointed in them tonight. And they didnt even play anything off there new album.

After the canadian rockers were Between The Buried and Me. And I have to be honest these guys plain sucked in my book end of conversation.

The main event of the evening was the swedish melodic death metalliers In Flames. Man before this concert I had'nt really heard much of there stuff. But after tonight I will definetly check out there stuff. And give it more of a listen. And man everyone in that band looked like they have been playing forever. And at one point during the show the singer grabed someones phone. And was like your putting this video on youtube arent you. Went on with the persons phone and I am going to try to find that video and post it on here. (found the video its in the first clip towards the end) But the show was pretty good.

I did not take the video of the following videos

IN FLAMES, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, THE FACELESS, THREE INCHES OF BLOOD

in flames

Tonight me and my girlfriend Laura are going to this show at the Knitting Factory.
I am really excited that Laura bought me a ticket for the show.
Even though I have seen The Faceless (4 times I think)  before and I have seen 3 inches of blood ( 2 times)
And The Faceless is a pretty good band live and Micheal Keene is a talented guitar player.
Last time I seen them I got the drummers stick.
My goal for the night is to get Micheal Keene's guitar pick.
But yeah other words i am excited to see In Flames and Between the Buried and Me.
Should be a pretty good show.
I will write about the show when I get back from the show.

Here is some pictures I got of the faceless the first time I seen them.

Kylesa

Hailing From Sludge Land Georgia I bring you Kylesa. I have to Admit I was a little worried when I heard about this band I was a little skepictal because they have two drummers and three singers for god sakes and i was automatically thinking man these guys are just going to be a sludge version of slipknot. I was very wrong these guys and gal are really talented especially Laura thats in this band usally alls a chick does in a metal band is sing and Laura she plays guitar and sings.
